This a lead beginner level Yoga Kungfu class, with minimal depth of instruction. Yoga Kungfu is a living meditation practice, developed from my experience with Meditation, Qigong, Yoga, and Kungfu. This ninety minute class will help cultivate subtle breath awareness, and integrate soothing breath patterns synchronized with movement, through a progressive process. All movements are adaptable to the average person, while also helpful in refining a seasoned movement practitioners fundamentals. The practice may vary slightly week to week, though the structure of Silent Meditation, Yoga Qigong, and Kungfu Forms can always be expected. This is a mild paced class with a gradual progression from meditation into movement, and will go by fairly quick and easy while we work to relax the nervous system, awaken the body, settle the mind, and integrate a living awareness of inner space. You will likely leave this class feeling more grounded and sure in your body, while also subtly energized, focused and relaxed.
